I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Mr Bell is associated in some way, correct me if I'm wrong.

Owners and guests only - I'm waiting for one of my students to tell her father she only wants to ski with me, not the local instructor!

Yep! It's private.
So better not like it 'cause you're never know if you do.

are boarders allowed?

The Yellowstone Club requires you to purchase property in their exclusive development in order to get a ski pass there. Only owners and their guests are allowed on the slopes. Properties with lift access butt up to the Big Sky ski area but the main ski area at Yellowstone is a ways away. In 2000 they required members to be of a net worth of over $5 million to buy there but considering home now go in the milllions I'm sure they've upped the minimum.
Most of the terrain is tame by SW Montana standards. The powder there lasts a long time due to the lack of skiers and policies that forbid employees to ski on untracked runs. (I've looked over from Big Sky at closing time and seen most of Yellowstone Club still untracked.) Boarders are allowed.
I'm perplexed at their claim of 2,700 vertical feet. They must be claiming chairs & runs that exist to get people in and out of their mansions that you wouldn't normally ski.

The summit of Pioneer Mountain is at 9860 feet, the base ("Warren Miller Lodge") is at 7160 feet.
After two seasons there I can certainly say that it is a great place to work.
