Poster: A snowHead

Last time I went skiing my phone broke because water somehow got into it when it was in my pocket.
What is the best thing to do with your mobile phone when skiing? I'll need it with me.
Thanks.

Dozza, Millets do a waterproof pouch for mobiles. I use one of them and the bizzare thing is that the phone can be operated whilst in the pouch - hear & speak perfectly through the membrane and I believe it conserves battery life by keeping damp out and the battery a bit warmer than just in a pocket.

The most useful bit of 1st aid kit you can carry when skiing. Turn it off if you don't want to be disturbed.

Mind you I reckon a strong ziplok freezer bag would be a good virtually free precaution for anyone - probably not totally waterproof, but it would probably give you a short delay that may make a difference.

For change/money and for my mobile phone I use resealable sandwich/food plastic bag that cost pennies at any supermarket..
My wife took the p*ss when I got them but by the end of the first day on teh snow, all my mates wanted one...
