Hopefully it shows snow at Raise this am.
Radar is also showing a couple of hours of moderate snow and strong westerly winds since then so it should be filling in for tomorrow ?

Currently 6C in North Yorkshire and about the same in Penrith. Howhill, Alston is showing about 4C and westerly wind 25mph. Radar is showing heavy precipitation so could be a marginal heavy snow event tonight up on Raise. The report was good skiing this morning on Spring snow with new heavy wet snow this afternoon.
Hopefully there won't be any loss tonight.
The forecast tommorrow is westerly winds 25mph with snow showers down to 600m. Should be a reasonable day with the weather improving.
Hope to get some Tele turns in on Sunday. Any Snowheads or Winterhighlanders heading up tommorrow?

Unfortunately too busy tomorrow, shame as it is lashing it down in Penrith at the moment, so could be some nice fresh stiff arriving on the tops.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Srobbo,
Just too warm last night for the fresh stuff, but no overall loss. This afternoon when the sun came out we had some great skiing which made up for this mornings drenching.

Two of the party left early to have an attempt on Helvellyn direct, one of England's few extreme ski decents. If they get any decent pictures I'll try and post them.
