Hi, I hope one of you lovely people might be able to help me.
I've just got back from Canada where I managed to pick up a new pair of last years Rossi bandit B2 Boots at a bargain price. Unforunately the ski shop didn't have the required Rossi oven for cooking the boots! Can I use a conventional oven and at what tempreture and for what length of time?

sweetiepoppit, most ski shops should have the required equipment, don't use a conventional oven as I suspect the material must be heated to a pretty precise temperature, get a good bootfitter to fit them for you, it will not cost much and will certainly be worth it.

sweetiepoppit, I had my Rossi boots re-done at a ski shop in resort as they were uncomfortable. They didn't even charge me.

Don't bother heating them... it'll just speed up the demise of their useful life for very little difference in comfort / fit.
Non custom 'thermo liners' are a gimmick and don't really take on much change, it's the equivelent to skiing on them for a week. Which means that given a standard pair of liners are really only good for 10 weeks skiing you're down to 9 already...

Hi guys.
Thanks for the info. maybe I'll just wear them without the cooking! The site for cooking boot inners was for Raichle boots. I wasn't sure about following the instructions as I'm not sure the properties of the Rossi inners are the same as that of the Raichles? (unlikely) I didn't really want to be pouring a pile of molten slag into my nice new boots!
Has anyone experienced the B2 boots without the cooking?
