Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

DebbiDoesSnow, just what I was thinking Laughing

stab, Laughing aww, you missed, 'it's great for towing snowboarders on the flats'

Those bindings sound like a Flow/Strap-in hybrid Confused

So, does your missus ride a Feelgood?

I now know more about snowboards than I do about skis rolling eyes

IncogSkiSno, not a hybrid, just have a cable running from heel to toe. Ride do good bindings - I have a pair, as does Mr L, very happy with them.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

No I couldn't get one, or rather I could in the end but without my 30% off so I left it. She ended up with the Custom which out of all the boards she tested (fate, ivy, something else and custom) she preferred. Absolutely hated the Fate, said it felt like it was made of plastic Puzzled

It seems most female specific boards are aimed at 5 feet and under weighing less than 7 stone, getting something in 158/157 is hard work.

edit: remembered the something else, atomic dreamrider. Real good board but aimed too much at free ride/boardercross kind of riding.

stab, How can you compare a Fate - Beg/Int board with an Ivy or Custom which are Adv/Exp boards they are in a different league. My daughter's Fate is now about 6 years old Laughing

I was just trying to guage how far her riding had come along by starting her test day on something I thought she was above in terms of skill. Turns out I was right, only lasted one run that board then swapped to the ivy. I saved the custom till last as I knew that would be the one from the start, I kept the prices secret because that would have biased it. wink

stab, your board portfolio is very narrow, there are more boards out there than the 3 you list !! Did you not allow your GF not do any research herself? surely being a girl the decision should depend on decals and whether the colour matches the cuffs Laughing
