Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi there dudes.

Looking for some advice/recomendations etc.

Group of probably areound 8 people (all blokes) are ylooking to get a week in somewhere over New Year Little Angel

We have been to Tignes and Val T already this year so are looking for a change from the "French Super resort scene"

We are all pretty good on the boards to be honest so difficulty level shouldnt be a problem.

We wouldnt mind somewhere that doesnt cost the earth to go out for a beer or 10!

Have been thinking about going back to Bansko but are struggling to get flights from Scotland Mad

Any ideas? Somewhere snow sure and cheap Very Happy

saalbach or hinterglem is your best bet, cheap beer, good food on mountains, loads of apres ski and nightlife and (apparently) 3 or 4 lap dancing clubs!
oh yea and 200 km of great skiiing!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Deux Alpes would probably suit you by the sounds of things - ok yep its France. But sounds to me like you may be looking for somewhere with loads of places to go out, and its usually cheap that week there...heard a lot of good things about Bankso though.

dave_wick, Go to Austria. Solden, Ischgl, Lech or St Anton are all easy transfers from Innsbruck or Friedrichshafen. Beer is cheap, the apres ski is great, there is boys entertainment if necessary and the skiing (or boarding if you must) is good too.

Plus it'll annoy the sh*t out of the misanthropic, holier than thou, protectionist stanton, if you end up in St Anton. If you want a wide-armed warm welcome then come to Verbier 'cos it rocks too! It just happens to be a little more expensive generally...

Good luck! snowHead
