Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Am looking forward to PG's thoughts on the disqualification of Bode Miller from Val D's downhill for wearing his GS suit during TRAINING
for the downhill race. Can't the Europeans beat him on the piste?!
Obviously

But it seems he is racing after all. Apparently he knew that the single day's practice would not set the start order and whatever he did would have no impact. So arguably Bode was the one playing games - not nervous EU skiers.
When is a disqualification not a disqualification ?? Baffled. More on this
thread
and
this one
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

, remember the saying from the America's Cup yacht races.
Britannia Rules the Waves ....
wait for it .........

.
Only until the Aussies took it away from them, of course.
Perhaps PG can find out today if it was a bit of skillful gamemanship on behalf of Bode ? I cannot see the point of a practice run wearing different gear except possibly as extra protection in the event of a tumble. He is famous for pushing things to the edge and then a bit more. Perhaps he was just being sensible for once? Yesterday our man on the spot,
PG
said Miller looked unhappy with the disqualifaction and took a photo to prove it. Now the US Team coach is saying he knew the training run had no bearing on start order and will wear the right suit today.
The truth is out there somewhere ???????
