Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Jackson Hole

This place looks seriously good, I like the sound of a 15minute transfer and with the state of the dollar, it looks very appealing. However, my wife and I are no experts and everything I read points to this resort being more suitable to the better standard of skier.
Has anyone been there who could give a little feedback? The other thing was lift pass prices in the UK for North American resorts, the brochures quote up to £40 per day, surely it would'nt be 75 dollars a day in the States.

Any info would be appreciated.

hey up4it, I was trying to dig up my lift tix for last year. I think I paid about $67 per day...

As for ability, there is plenty for intermediates and beyond. And if you want to take it a bit easier, just head up the road to Grand Targhee.
The only advice for Jackson is AVOID THE TRAM if you're not an expert.
There's a lot of good intermediate stuff to be had off Apres Vous or the Bridger Gondola.

Thanks for that Wear The Fox Hat, I've just found out it's three flights to get there though. No way i'm doing that so it's back to the brochures.

Don't know if this is now too late but you can fly American into Dallas and then onto JH. Good legroom too. Fly from both gatwick and LHR.
