Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

ski holidays have been ruined!

it appears that kebab corner at geneva airport has closed down and will be replaced by either burger king or mcdonalds.

ski holidays will never be the same again. I think every snowhead should write a letter of complaint to geneva airport and see if we can get kebab corner back!

who is with me???

Good kebabs available in ValT. Also Le Royal kebab in Tignes Val Claret an establishment of such gastronomic excellence* that it attracts members of the Lavachet ghetto to make the hour plus journey at 2 in the morning.

Personally I wasn't impressed.

I'm not familair with kebab corner. What I miss at GVA is a sort of deli place which used to be at the far end of the railway station concourse, opposite the Migros (?) supermarket at the very end. It made up excellent filled rolls and baguettes. It was there for years, but isappeared several years ago. Decent sandwiches were thin on the ground the last time I was at GVA.

Well if we're talking good airport grub, I think I went through Aberdeen airport last year and was hungry and bought the most expensive cornish pasty I've ever bought, but boy was it good, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another, it was from a specialist stand that just did pasty and it was about £3.50 Shocked but I've never had a pasty like it even in Cornwall.

I think you may have led a very sheltered life - West Cornwall Pasty Company ?

Available at every public transport terminal and street corner in the big smoke and the only smell on any train departing after 10pm at night. wink

I couldn't disagree more... having found said kebab corner as the only eatery still serving food late one evening in January... as tasty as it was, i then proceeded to have the flight from hell with far too many trips to the loo, never a nice experience, but especially on a plane!!!!

Glad the place has shut, as i've never had that experience from a Burger King!
