Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

My regular ski is a Head Monster 72.
I'm 80kg, 6ft..although once you add a backpack with shovel, probe, spare kit, water, etc. that would easily be a few kg's heavier.

I tried out some wider twin tips at the weekend in some deep snow (Morzine).
Any thoughts on these skis?
Movement Gladiator 183cm 92 waist, felt good in the deeper stuff, easy to plough through and actually I was able to carve these very well.
Salomon Foils 178cm ?? waist but about same, good in deeper stuff but felt quite light, a bit unstable at first, and not as easy to carve.

I'm now thinking of replacing my Monster with some wider twin tips as I just can't see the benefit of thinner skis when I want to do more off piste stuff in future...

Do you by any chance know how the Mojo 94 compares to previous versions of the same ski (i.e. Mad Trix & 90) esp. in terms of construction & stiffness?

If you like the Monsters on piste, then you could consider the wider versions i.e 82 or 88. The 82s are almost as nimble as the 72s (I own both) but stronger off-piste. I would imagine the 88s are another step in that direction, but starting to become harder work on piste.

A completely new ski, the 90 is a capped construction, 94 is sandwich, great edge hold on groomers, nice and soft longitudinally for powder!

Thanks, I'll add it to the demo list.
