Megève in January.
2 weeks in California in March. Certainly a few days at Sugar Bowl (where a friend has a "cabin"). Probably the odd day at some of the other Tahoe-area resorts. Perhaps also some skiing with my cousin further south, eg at Mammoth or one of the small resorts near LA, eg Mt Baldy.

We'll most probably be in Monetier. It isn't booked yet, but soon as easyjet and ryanair release their flights I will be.

ecsleath, I suggested that we go to Serre Che in the transfer to the airport this christmas that has just gone. Everyone agreed. I always can't wait for the annual ski trip.
That place looks nice. We're hopefully staying in accomodation with its own spa baths. This one hopefully http://www.eurekaski.com/accommodation-aclot.htm

Yes, we went back in Christmas 2002 (not that accomodation though). Unfortunately I twisted my knee badly on the first morning, couldn't ski for 2 days and had to take it REALLY easy for the rest of the time, so looking forward to getting rid of those memories.
Serre Che has a consistently good record of early season snow, so should be good!

ecsleath, yes the snow in the area this christmas was excellent. I was in Montgenevre which is about 5 miles away as the crow flies. Hoping we get a repeat of this season.
