Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Remember it won't be a pint - even though the French still use the word "pint" for a 50 cl measure. That is about .88 of a pint so it is dearer than you think

I found Bar'd Up to be by far the cheapest place in town. Most place I went were €5 to €5.5. That was cheaper than La Clusaz, I'd point out.

Monkey Bar, in ChamSud is the cheapest in town 4.50 a pint, two for one 4.30-6.00. Cocktails at €6.50 Two for one 9.00-10.00. So 4 pints for €9, then eat (optional) then 4 cocktails (about 12 shots) for 13, be completely spannered for €22. Cheaper than London, beer in super U almost free.

Altitude 2000 at Brevent, total rip off- avoid.

Thanks for the feedback, folks. Just back today - after seeing the prices we, save for one night, drank supermarket beer! By the by, the conditions in Chamonix yesterday were some of the best I've ever seen and the resort is virtually empty. If anyone's considering doing a short late season trip, don't hesitate, do it now!!
