Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Thinking about selling my Karmas

Anyone interested in some Vokl Karmas 177 at £175 before they go on Ebay?

I bought them this year and have only about 2 weeks of skiing on them. They are in great nick but are a bit short for me.

Price is for skis only as i want to keep the specialised bindings. Im in Essex but could post (at cost) if needed..

Not working for you tele?

Sorry not a serious expression of interest as I've just spunked cash on a less than strictly essential additional pair of skis but a good buy for someone.

Might be worth mentioning than tele mounting holes probably won't interfere with a redrill for alpine for anyone interested?

fatbob, havent tried em for tele yet but cant say i like them on piste, too short for off piste and as all rounders they dont really suit me being too wide. Good point on the mounting holes. when i bought em i didnt consider the twin tips and tele problem... am thinking of a pair of stocklis XL's for my all mountain/tele setup...

I am planning on trying out the tele "mode" on saturday in the mountains for the first time. my daughter has been off skis for a year so i am going to start with tele so we can both be on the greens and blues Toofy Grin

twin tips and tele problem

?

My Intuitiv Bigs are almost twin tips - tail is turned up by an inch or so...all I have to do is to stick my feet further apart ?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

ski, cant remember who mentioned it but i seem to recall that twin tips and learning tele dont go together well as when your skis overlap bad things happen...

skimottaret, You have to widen your stance with the twin tips constantly swear at mine when my feet get closer than shoulder width apart but no problems if I can keep the gap. Usually my feet are closer together and it shows on my boots and bindings. Have also seen others who have cut off the twin tips, better than pulling up to the lift and falling over because you've just crossed twin tails, I have a heck of time getting up on a flat especially with all the laughter.

skimottaret, Haven't the foggiest how others cut them, just that we have one skier who has cut out the inside half of each tail tip.
