I've always had the impression there are not many places more expensive than megeve
|

Megeve has some of the most expensive restaurants in France. But you don't have to eat there. If you are on an all-in chalet holiday, you really wouldn't have to spend a lot more money if you didn't want to. I doubt whether a beer and a plate of chips is any more expensive than in, say, Courchevel.
