Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi all, question is in the title really.

I'm new to snowboarding, but i'm hooked, and already planning my trip for 2009. At the same time, i would like to start getting my own gear. After reading numerous, very informative threads on here about the importance of getting boots that fit, can someone on here recommend a good boot fitter in the UK?

Getting a pair off eBay, however much money i would save, is a recipe for disaster! How long on average do boots last?

I live in the NorthEast, but have visited Castleford, there's a shop there (can't remember name), any good?

Got my boots off ebay - just needs lots of research beforehand and the ability to get your boots heatmoulded at a local shop for about £10 - mine are brilliant
