Somewhere called Maria Alm in Austria. I just happened to be in a skiwear shop in Norwich getting stuff for next season and just commented that its a shame to have to wait until next season to use it and the guy suggested a company who have some very late deals due to the extended season. Cant wait the whole 2.5 days till the off!!!!

lenniem, visited Maria Alm (first time in Austria) earlier this year. Had a great time. Smallish resort but with some nice blues and reds and connected to the SKI Amade region if you want to venture further afield. Stayed at the Alpenland Sporthotel which was very comfortable, and the resort buses make moving around easy. Nice food, nice beer and friendly people. Enjoyed it very much

Off to Obertauern on Saturday - 1.8m base and 2.8m up the mountain, counting down now.

I'm off to Cairngorm tomorrow, and I didn't book it at all I just decided this morning. (Providing I can my work done today).

The company is called Austria super ski. They do a package where they take you to 7 resorts in 7 days (assuming you want to go) all included in the price. They seem very nice, come well recommended so time will tell

Finally skiing the Okanagan valley, 15 years to get there and 1.5 hours till I'm on the road. Let it snow Let it snow... may all snow seekers have a great time.

Nice area been there winter and summer. How is the snow? Its quite low lying?
