Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Spent last week in Cervinia (and Zermatt), started off a bit warm, resort runs soft by the afternoon, but got steadily colder as week went on, until the maximum daytime temps were -5 at resort level, and in minus double figures on the hill. Then a good dump of snow (40cm) on Friday, so for Saturday conditions were absolutely perfect!

In town the highest temp last week - 3c, generally most of the week during the day it was around -9c. Good snow cover with little need for manufactured stuff.
At the top - 27 ish, with a bit of a breeze adding windchill to increase the value further. Snow excellent but commonly windy.
Fresh snow in small amounts once overnight at the beginning of the week, in large quantities on a couple of occasions at the end of the week.
On one day, the pistes were still lumpy from the day before with a veil of fresh powder over the top making it a little tricky.
Was snowing well when I left yesterday morning.
