Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Les Arcs 2000 - Esprit Ski Accomodation

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I've been a regular visitor to Les Arcs, sans famille. For 2009, I'd like to take my wife and children - we were away with Esprit last year, so I was planning on travelling with them again. At first, I was thinking of Peisey, but the cost was a little on the high side. Arcs 2000 was better, but frankly its a grotesque resort... (I have thou, to be fair, only skied past it and never set foot 'in' it).

Does anyone have experience of the Esprit accom in 2000 and if so what is the opinion....?

Thanks!

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Is that in the Chalet des Neiges?
We stayed in the Alpine Elements part of it at the beginning of the month.
We were on the top floor in a 14 person apartment.
It was OK, perfectly adequate.
People often went down to 1950 in the evening, then came back on the last lift at 11pm)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

justacey, yes looks like it is! Thanks.

Not sure we'll need to head out to 1950, just need a nearby bar to grab a beer while the children are having tea!

You need to Login to know who's really who.

You are spoilt for bars as there is one under the chalet, one to the left and one to the right.
The one underneath, Whistlers Dream, had 2 for the price of 1 happy hour at about 4:30 to 6:00 ish, with some rather interestingly European music.
I found the CdN website and here is the Alpine Elements website for if you are interested.

One thing that may catch you out. We arrived by coach and the coach stopped at the top of the hill by Club Med. We then had to wheel our cases down to the chalet. And vice versa, wheel them up the hill to go home. It was fine for us, as there was no snow on the road, but I could imagine it would be a nightmare in the snow. You say you have children. Are they big enough to wheel their own cases? If not, start training them early. Laughing

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Stayed with SkiWorld in Chalet des Neiges a few years ago. Coach stopped close by, with no walking involved. Map of resort here. 15 is CdN, a small draglift opposite took us up to the skiing the morning.
