Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Trip to America, Denver area, late April

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi All,

I hear there has been a good snowAmerica this season. I am going to be in the Vail - Denver area for about a week from the 21st of April. Are there any resorts that will still be open? I know this is probably dependent on snow fall!

Any information or links to resorts that tend to stay open the longest would be great. Even if they make the snow to stay open later thats fine.

Cheers Dave

discodave82, Vail closes around then. Arapahoe Basin and Breckenridge will still be going strong but I think all the others won't. Best check their websites.

discodave82, Breckenridge say they close on the 20th, Vail closes on the 13th, Aspen & Snowmass the same, Highlands & Buttermilk a week earlier - I'll be there! US resorts often close ridiculously early to european eyes - often with tonnes of snow still. Arapahoe basin will be open until early june though...

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

How long will you be in the area?
There will be a mini SkiDiva gathering at Abasin the second weekend in May

Wow, that's early. Must be lack of punters rather than lack of snow... I've skied there in May before now. discodave82, looks like A-Basin or nothing... enough fun to be had there for 2-3 days I'd say. Loveland will probably be open but it's less interesting.
