Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

My best bargain recently has to be a Patagonia Wool 3 100% Merino wool womens long sleeve base layer top, it's lovely and it was .....£7 Very Happy from TK Maxx. I reckon these are normally 40-60 quid?? So I was really pleased.

I think my skis bought via snowheads own Admin were excellent value - Elan Wave Magics brand new - old season graphics and I think they will be paid for in two weeks at hire costs. I worried at the time about ski ownership, but since costing the hire costs ski ownership for me is a 'no brainer'.

I also got a great Tog 24 jacket for my daughter to grow into for £8 from TKMAXX the other week.

sarah, I think my best ever purchase was finding a pair of apple green SOS pants in my size at a ski sale in Glasgow for £100 (half price). They were exactly what I was looking for to set off my purple/green/pink Degre 7 jacket.

Look it was the early 90s and we were all doing it weren't we?

I'm at an utter loss to figure out what that post has to do with The Piste. I terms of skiing, I would say my Keela Munroe jacket bought form admin has been my best bargain - a jacket that performs as well as others costing far more.

sarah, My Better Half is a Cheap-a-shop-a-holic.... it would be nice to say 'Bargains' but this year's random raids of LIDL, TK-Maxx etc . in the UK include :-

1 matching 2-pce Ski-suit ( too small ..not worn)
3 pairs of goggles ( she invariable wears sunglasses.. not worn)
1 Pair of Leather gloves ( too nice to wear!)
4 pairs of 9 " - thick sox ( may be worn apre-ski I guess)
1 new jacket ( she already has 3 , and only ever wears the beaten up cheapy one she loves, not worn)

and that's just what I know about Shocked but has she bought that helmet she really needs ? rolling eyes
