Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

boredsurfin,

Up Peisey chair. At top go left and follow La Foret runto Le Derby Chair (new chair this year replaces Plan Bois). Top of that go left and take Reeches red run to Transarc. At top of Transarc take middle red and follow signs for Arc 2000 in the middle of the bowl. Aim for Lanchettes chair. Top of Lanchettes chair go left and ski for about 5km.

Breaking it down. All approx of course wink Laughing The waits for mrsfatcontroller can be longer Toofy Grin

Peisey Chair - 7 mins?

At top wait for mrsfatcontroller to get herself ready, gloves, boots tightened, scarf - 17 mins rolling eyes

Ski to Derby Chair - 7 mins

Derby Chair - 7-10 mins

Wait for again at top of Derby for mrsfatcontroller to get herself ready, gloves, boots tightened, scarf - 17 mins rolling eyes

Ski to Transarc - 8 mins

Transarc -15 mins

Top Transarc wait for again for mrsfatcontroller to get herself ready, gloves, boots tightened, scarf - 17 mins rolling eyes

Ski to Lanchettes - 15 mins tops

Lanchettes Chair 8 - 10 mins

Top Lanchettes wait for again for mrsfatcontroller to get herself ready, gloves, boots tightened, scarf - 17 mins rolling eyes

Ski to Villaroger 15 -20 mins. The speed of this section will depend your ability to douse your burning thighs with water whilke skiing or if you have to stop and cry Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil

Be warned the lifts outs of Villariger are slow. Takes a good 20 mins to get back up to top of Lanchettes.

If there is a big queue for the middle station of the TransArc is might be quicker to take the Grand Renard chair (located just behind the TransArc station) then the 'Dents du Peigne' and 'Plan' pistes to Arc 2000 and the Lanchettes chair.

I'd guess about an hour from Peisey to Villaroger if lift queues aren't too bad.

rob@rar, I agree - I like the Grand Renard chair - quieter & more dramatic scenary than the bubble snowHead

After all it is free Go on u know u want to!
The only problem is that the Gd Renard chair doesn't seem to run all the time. Don't know if it breaks down a lot (it's an old 3-seater) or they don't bother to run it if it's quiet.

It's just a guess, and might be wildly optimistic. I'm not much good a guesstimating time, although I do ski quick so that kind of makes up for it Wink
