Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

They look like they don't come up the shin as high as other boots. Are they lower?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

ah, but are they comfy? no point being a rider with a death wish in painful boots - that would just detract from the death wish experience.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

yeah they are comfy, had them heat molded yesterday. I normally buy soft soft boots but fancied a change. They are the same height as most boots I guess.

well safe to say I hate them. I've never had such stiff boots in my life. Rode around all day with them undone and they were still too stiff. I screwed up buying these Sad

stab, Probably a touch too big for me . . . shame, I'd have made an offer or a swap with some new Salomon F24s (9s)

Masque, I know for a fact I don't fit a 9 salomon synapse. I'm thinking of getting the inners out of them and putting them in the old boots so at least I can enjoy my boarding again. I never realised how much flex I need before today.

stab, friend of mine bought some real stiff boots last season, at end of day one they had ripped most of the skin of both ankles, he had to get them dressed every day of the holiday, they are fine now

so I ditched the drivers, not for me at all those things. Got some Burton Ion now, much better, a softer boot for my jibbery pokery.

I think the stiffness from the driver comes partly from the vibram sole which was the one thing I liked about them, the Ion has rubber spikes though Smile
