Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

ok for you guys out there... I have a good friend staying in our place next week for half term and he is dying to do the is run but every year it is closed. Now I know it was open at xmas although a little thin at end.

Can anyone report on the current state and whether this is skiable top to bottom at the moment? It would make his trip! Thanks.

thefatcontroller, Thanks for the feedback. He really does want to do it though and I did suspect that it looks better on the piste map than it really is! Do you know current state of the run?

At the time it was the only run showing as closed. According to the piste map from Feb 2nd most lifts are closing after 5pm.

Mouth, what he says, really, believe it!
We were there two days earlier, & it was closed then (lucky escape, we would've done it otherwise). We went down the other red to Champagny (Bois, I think) which had temporary banners at the top saying 'Tres Difficile' - well, it wasn't that hard, really, but it wasn't very enjoyable, what with all the ice & little stoney bits...
We could see the end of the MdlG run from lower down, & it was mainly grass & stones - I was surprised that it was opened again that week...

Yep, Inversions & Crozats, best fun of our week, probably. Along with the runs to Montalbert & La Roche... snowHead
Unless your friend is staying in Champagny, what's the point? Toofy Grin
