Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

SuburbanSkier, yep, easy. IIRC take the La Tania bubble & then the Praz Juget chair then there's a choice of a green, a blue or a red in to 1850. Or you could free bus it to 1550 & take either the bubble or the six-man in to 1850.

Much quicker to ski, providing you've got a few week's experience. I agree that it's easy by 9.30, providing you're at the front of the queue for the bubble out of La Tania (and assuming no lift closure because of weather or mechanical issues). Getting to a 9.15 lesson is very tight, but a 9.30 start is OK.

Certainly easier and quicker to ski but you will have to get a move on.

La Tania gondola then Dou des Lanches chair is easier - left at the top and straight down to 1850 via Lac Bleu piste and Loze Est (Praz Juget is the drag lift option which brings you out at the top of Lac Bleu but may be marginally quicker). Bare in mind the 2 lifts to the Loze summit will take 15 to 20 minutes, but an intermediate skier should be able to get down to 1850 in 10 minutes easily enough.

First free ski bus isn't until 09:10 from La Tania - it takes 30 mins to 1850, getting off at 1550 and then lift up to 1850 is a bit quicker but it will be very tight getting there for 09:30 that way.

Thanks All. It's to meet the ski club rep, if the ski host that comes with our chalet package isn't much cop.

SuburbanSkier, We did a beginners snowboard lesson @ 1850 with Ski Supreme, so going on snow was not an option. We used the bus from La Tania to Le Praz then took the eggs up - very easy for 9.30 start. The bus ran every half an hour - but that was 5 years ago!
