Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Long Weekend 3rd april

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
looking to go for a long weekend 3rd April for 4 nights, got the flights to Geneva and we're looking for suggestions for resorts and accommodation for 2 people. We are fairly flexible but obviously require somewhere pretty snow sure and within a couple of hours drive of Geneva.

I have skied La Thuile/La Rosiere and Chamonix (doing the Vallee Blanche) on that weekend. Both very easy from Geneva. Another consideration would be Cervinia giving access to Zermatt.

If I were you, I wouldn't think about trying to sort accommodation until the week before you go.

Ray Zorro, Thanks for the advice, this weekend skiing lark is all new to me Puzzled I have usually been babysat by a package company, can you give me any tips on where to find accommodation?

Gregd, the tourist information website is a good place to start. For both La Thuile and Cervinia I used that and then emailed the same message to all the hotels with about 10 days to go and then assessed the options that came back. I had quite a few offers in the end. You just have to be prepared to be flexible snowHead .
