Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

OMG Shocked How good was that 16-year old Swiss girl??? And what a shame about that fall - she would have won otherwise! Still amazing result Very Happy Lara Gut - one to watch for the future perhaps Very Happy Great win for Holaus as well, she's had some very promising results over the season - nice to see new faces coming through.

Overall, cracking race - Lindsay Vonn's run was rather eventful as well Laughing shame bout chemmy - but a few around her start position were slow - specially the american just before her - think a change of snow conditions and poor wax choice might have played a part Sad

I missed most of the race, but switched on just in time to see the racer before Lara. Realised it was the tail enders, so was shocked when I saw her get the green light. She was so happy - I don't think I've ever seen a bigger smile.

and as if that wasn't enough, in the end Tina Maze came from bib 47 out of 51 to win the race Shocked so not a win for Holaus after all, and 3rd for the young swiss girl - not a podium anyone would have predicted before the race I think Shocked Laughing
