Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Looking at buying a Rossignol Radical 9 ski helmet, any ideas on uk dealers or best prices?

ski-bilek on eBay has them as i was looking at them... i'd be dubious about buying a helmet from abroad without trying though as some people said to me in a thread recently...

if i by online, it'll be from somewhere where i can send it back to sharpish Wink

Go to a shop and get your helmet fitted correctly.

You may like the look of a particular helmet but it may well not match with your crown!

Phone a few local stores and find out how big there range of helmets are and try them ALL in your size to find the best fit.

Many retailers, including online, may not accept a returned helmet as it is a piece of safety equipment and have to be 100% sure that the helmet has never been used before they can sell it on to another customer.

Just check there policies before you commit and make sure the helmet fits properly as you will be wearing it(if you are sensible) every day of your skiing life.
