Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Firstly I have to say that I broke my tripod before I got to do any filming. We hiked two pitches totaling around an hour and had to ski round the lake so having a very heavy and broken tripod was annoying. Some of the footage is a little shaky.

The skiing all off the back of Mont Fort in Verbier. We hiked for 40mins in to a couloir that I don't know the name of that heads down in to Superbowl. There were lots of tracks off the back of Mont Fort but with a little extra walking / climbing most of our descent was untracked.

The video is 13minutes long, the first 3 mins is some of the hiking / climbing you can fast forward that bit of you like.

The skiers are Becky, Nina and Paul. The snowboarder is my chef Andrew. All the filming and editing by myself.

Maybe it's me or google compression, but the skiers are hard to make out in some of the long range shots....
