Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Where are all the boarders?

My fiancee just pointed out that she hardly ever sees any boarder posts on this site and on further thought I realised that I haven't really ever seen a post from a boarder say in the Equipment section. Why is this so and where are all the boarders? Is it because there aren't many snow boarders on this site, is it becuase boarders are too cool for the internet or is it because boarders don't know how to type, spell, read or write?

I guess discussing what one interprets to be fasionable and cool are not open to debate. Snowboarding is seen as way more accessable and as a result a whole lot less technical than skiing. The boarders in resort seem a lot more happy with there performance and kit than the skiers. Perhaps they think less, perhaps the're just plain happy with alot less.

SMALLZOOKEEPER, It is strange thought that we hardly ever see a post from a boarder over which board to buy or what bindings to use! I think the site needs more influence from the otehr side ...especially blonde chick boarders!

Why do the skiers on here spend so much time discussing it then?

I think you'll find quite a few of those posts in the snowboarding section...Why boarders do not post in the equipment/review forum...Not sure but I think that it's because there is in fact a dedicated "snowboarding" forum/section...therefore we post there naturally... wink That is were the dark side of the force takes us! Toofy Grin (as some skiers would say.. wink )

I think plenty of boarders posts in the piste/resorts/apres forums...
