Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi TalkSki.com, have you tried any internet booking sites like www.planigo.com?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

After much emailing and checking many sites like planigo.com I have still been unable to find availability. Preferably we are looking for a self catered apartment for 5 people. Does anyone have any more suggestions as to where we could try?

Ive booked self catering in St Jean dAulps just 4 km down the valley from Morzine. Not as convenient I know but much cheaper and if you have a car shouldn't be too difficult to get there.

go to chalets direct forum here http://www.chaletsdirect.com/forum/category-view.asp .
go to the "solutions room" and post your requirements (you need to sign in as a guest)
you will be amazed at the replies you will get within 24-48hrs. i am going to morzine next week and i posted with only a week to go and got 7 offers of chalets. I am now fixed up an paid up thanks to chaletsdirect. it is an independent site and is frequented by many chalet owners and they will let you know their offers.
www.skiwhitegold.co.uk is who i am going with
http://www.koala-morzine.com/ is next door - i have stayed there for one night a few years ago remember it being nice - especially the basement games room !

try www.hikeandski.com The chalet is in Le Biot about 10k from Morzine, but they have a minibus to transport you to whichever slopes you want. Rather a 15min minibus ride straight to the lift base than a 15min hike across town with skis and boots anyday!!!
