Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Morning..

Just joined Snowheads in the hope that someone can advise me on the best way to get from Geneva to Les Coches?

I'll be on my own, and am heading out on the 31st Jan.

Is it possible to get a train anywhere near to Les Coches?

All the transfer sites I've tried are only offering private transfers, at £180+ each way!

ben_leeds, We hired a small car for the 2 of us last year. 31st is a Thursday? When you heading back? There are buses that run to Bourg Saint Maurice from Geneva, someone will be along soon to help snowHead

I arrive late on the Thursday and head back on Monday night.

Looking like a hire car is going to be the best bet, unless anyone can expand on the public transport options.

How likely is being able to blag my way onto a resort bus if I cross a reps palm with silver?

ben_leeds, Ben not 100% sure but highly unlikely any TO resort buses will be there Thursday and going back Monday. We hired a small car for about £90.
