Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

minx, Hi I had private lessons with a guy called Thomas Biner at the swiss school, he was really good. I also had lessons with a swiss guy from Stoked whose name I can't remember who wasn't good at all. But someone else in our group had private lessons too with Stoked and she had an english guy called John who was really good. This was 3 and 4 years ago though. I guess people move on, although I would bet Thomas Biner is still there as he is a local.

I used a Swiss Ski School guy called Herbi Luthi for a couple of hours private a couple of years ago and he was great www.allalpinesports.com.

I too did not have a good experience with Stoked - although they did give me my money back when I cancelled the rest of the lessons as the teacher was not up to it.

minx, Colin B,

Summit Ski School is run by an old friend of mine, so I'd highly recommend them:

minx, Half way through my Level 5 course with Summit and so far I'm very impressed. There are only 3 of us in the group (as of Sunday it was only me booked in which case I'd have got 9 hours of 1:1 tuition) and the tuition is good with a lot of flexibilty built in to cover what we want. Today it was obviously powder skiing Very Happy on and slightly off piste and bumps and itineraries are also on the agenda. Young guy called Jack H taking us, about 5 years teaching experience in Andorra, Italy, New Zealand and now in Zermatt for his first season.

minx, Finished my course yesterday and was dead impressed. In a 3 hour session yesterday Jack got me from being a complete numpty on moguls to a reasonable level of competence. I'm sure you wont be disappointed.
