Poster: A snowHead

My footbeds are magic - they keep my dodgy ankle stable and painfree in my Nordica GTS8s. I am concerned about airlines losing/delaying my boots if I can't take them as handluggage (I have emailed to ask what the airline says on that as there seems to be no common policy). It occured to me that if my footbeds would fit other boots, ie hire ones, it could be worth taking them separately in handluggage if the boots had to go in the hold, just in case, so that I could hire until reunited with mine.

Butterfly, Mine certainly do. I'm sure CEM and the Zookeeper with be along with the correct answer, but it's something I've done several times. Works for me.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Butterfly, they should be transferrable - they are supposed to be foot-specific, not boot-specific.
I use my old ski boot footbeds in my walking boots. (got new footbeds with my last boots as I was going from green superfeet to cork molded ones)

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Butterfly, shouldn't be a problem, obviously it is best to interface the footbed perfectly with the boot, but this is fine tuning and in an emergency it should not be an issue to use them in a rental boot
