Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Salomon 1080 Gun Boots

I've got a pair of these boots that I bought and had fitted from Lockwoods. I've not got a problem with them except that they are set in their most rigid setting and I want to loosen them as I'm doing a lot of free-riding and park skiing rather than downhill racing. Does anyone know how to do this?

I've got some tools out here with me and am ready to go, as soon as I find out how to do it.

/bensley, take out the 2 screws at the back, 5mm allen key and fit with plugs, or duct tape.

SMALLZOOKEEPER, have just done this with very similar boots - obviously correct if coming from SZK - makes a substantial difference to flex.
