Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Passo Tonale - any advice ??

We're a group of 7 off to Passo Tonale this Weekend.

Can anyone tell us what bars to look out for for the old Apres Ski ? and any tips on this place, none of us have been before, but it was a good deal, so any advice gratefully received thanks !!

Eat in Antares,great pasta and pizza,then head up to El Bait,coolest bar with laid-back funky sounds-Manuel makes the best Capareno ever and is a very decent bloke.You can play giant Chenga as well.

Went to passo 2 years ago, great holiday! Many people told me that apres ski was very limited but I thought otherwise, For a small town passo had some good bars! I agree with "yanto" El Bait was good.

U are in for a lot of snow this we and next week in Passo, buy googles if u dont already have them.
The Glacier is worth a trip, as is then ski run down to Ponte de Legno, v pretty - but keep the speed up on this run, some parts of it are flattish. You ski pass covers Ponte de Legno as well. I believe Ponte de Legno and Passo are now linked by a Gondola
