Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi
I have a pair of Spyder pants that need a small repair. One of the popper studs has come off and needs replacing. Does anybody know where I can get this repaired?
Thanks

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Jcosh, If you draw a blank and its in a suitable location you could always add a strong button and cut and sew a button hole?

It's the popper that does up around the ankle once you have your boots on, so a button is less desirable than the original stud.

You'll need to Register first of course.

Jcosh, I've used local cobblers/shoe repairers/key cutter shops for this in the past. Costs about £2.
If you can't find one; any decent laundry should have a contact with a clothes repairer/alterer who could do the job too.

Instead of a button you could use Velcro. At least that would 'pop' open like a stud.
