Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Cervnina flights/transfer

Hi there, thinking of heading out there in the Easter holidays (unfortunately the other half is a teacher!!). Is it best to get a cheap flight to Turin or Milan and get the train up or fly into geneva and go from there?

I have had a look and seen that there is a direct bus from Turin but not found much info other than.

Thanks for your help,

Colbolt snowHead

colbolt,

Turin is closest and you can get a bus to the Chatillon ( I think) from either Turin or Milan and then get another bus up the valley.

I wouldn't like to do it from Geneva, even though it doesn't look far you'd have to get down to MArtigny..the easy bit and then on and I am not sure how joined up that would be.

If going to Turin ( or anywhere else) don't pick very early or late flights as it is a long way up and down the valley to Cervina so ypu have to gear this around the buses... taxis are too expensive, altho' for two peeps they might make a hole in the taxi price.

If it were me, I'd look at those connections first before I commit to the flight... says he, who has to get from Gare d Nord to Gare d Lyon within 50 mins..!!!
