Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Royal, Sorry but I don't know anything about Banff or LL. However, a good place to look would be in a tour operator brochure, e.g. Crystal or Inghams, as they would be able to tell you. I would imagine that there must be day care for little ones though. What age is the child care for?

Do you have to go to Banff? There are other places in Canada that I know have excellent childcare for children that young - Whistler and Silver Star.

We first went to Lake Louise 12 years ago because at the time it was the only place with facilities for our then 5 month old daughter. Everything was so fantastic we returned almost every year (my daughter was seven when she had her first Christmas in England) and both our children went into the daycare until they were old enough to join the ski groups. The LL daycare is absolutely fantastic for all the age groups they accept, staff ratios are very high, costs are remarkably low and we could never fault the standard of care. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone (note you will have to make reservations for babies) and have absolutely no connection with them at all except for being a very, very satisfied client.

Royal, we have used the Lake Louise daycare on 4 occasions for children from 15 months to 4 years. It is cheap and brilliant. Highly recommended. Our youngest took his first steps on skis with one hour each morning and afternoon whilst in daycare. He would hide when we came to collect him. Either they are very good, or we are very bad.

If you stay in Lake Louise itself, you will be in a quiet place but with excellent quick access to the daycare.
