Spikyhedgehog, I can reassure you that its not snowing in Cheltenham. The powder runs are of interest to the constabulary only

Don't fret Charli939, if La Ros is getting any, it's highly likely La Plagne is too.
FYI it's a little bit of an in-joke around here that La Rossierre is the very very best of all things to all men because someone who used to post here often, somewhat over-sold it. Sorry if we worried you

skinutter. Great stuff! When there's snow about, we usually get it good in Les Saisies. The webcams have been looking very pretty today and its snowed right down to Hauteluce, too.

Talking of Les Saisies, does anyone know of a tour operator that goes there? Went there years ago and loved it, but none of the usual suspects have it on their books.

Charli939, I don't know of any TOs who do packages. Erna Low do accommodation and ferry packages, but you can easily put your own DIY package together. We have an apartment there so we know it quite well (ours is not available for rent, but lots are, and would be cheaper than a package). If you went to Les Saisies some years ago you would be surprised how much more lift linked skiing there now is - to Notre Dame and Praz sur Arly without taking your skis off.

Hi Pam, trying to work out if we will be able to get out there again this season with a 4month old.......
The advantages of a col...have spent many a morning digging a car out there lol
Re tour operators, erna low but also try leisure direction too, they used the Hameau de beafortain as their base last season, we stayed there for 2 weeks with fully flexible eurotunnel thrown in for about £1300 inc for 2 adults and 1x 2 1/2yr old in a 6 bed apartment.
We've also rented in plenty of other locations around the resort, alpimo and grand mont rental agencies both speak good english and prices are very competitive in our experience, pm if you want any more details...
