Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I'm looking for a 1 ski does everything package. I will mainly be skiing on piste but am looking to drift further and further off piste. The mags all seem to point to K2 Recons but they don't seem to cover skis like Fischer and Dynastar.
Should I be looking further afield?
Grateful for all suggestions.

I have fischer AMC 79. Very good ski. Stable at speed on piste. I had dynastar 4800 and didn't rate it on piste. I am therefore sceptical as to whether its big brother the 8000 will be as good on piste as the AMC 79.

Scott Neo, Monster IM82 - I would consider these if I was buying again. seen some scott neo's on ebay for £299 inc bindings

PsychoBabble, If you want to look further afield and looking to get into more offpiste the width underfoot you should be looking for imo is around 79-89 though obviously the wider they go the more off piste bias they have...
