Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

1sunnychick, welcome to SnowHeads. Although I spend most of my skiing hols in Serre Chevalier, I haven't stayed in Chalet Pyrene , although i think it is the one on the main road next to the Villeneuve petrol station. On the edge of the old village, and across the road and river from the lifts (use the underpass, as the traffic can be busy).

1sunnychick,
Welcome to snowHead 's . I also know nothing about the chalet.Ther have been a lot of threads recently about Serre Che where you will find quite a bit of info. You can use the search engine to find the threads . If there is anything more specific and not in these threads though ask and someone will probably have an answer. Most snowHead 's who have been, though not all. like the place a lot.

1sunnychick, Pyrene is in an rather unpreposessing position (next to the petrol station, indeed) but is very nice inside. Living area is at first floor level (garage underneath), so the view is over the top of the filling station towards the mountain - v nice. Two minute walk into the old part of Villeneuve. I'd estimate about a 10-15 min walk to the Frejus lift.

The last reports on Chalet Pyrene are nearly 2 years old. Just wondered if any snowHeads have an update on the place? Official sites seem to suggest a 10 minute walk to the lifts, [b]Lizzard[/] suggesting an estimate of up to 15. Any views on the service etc in the chalet? Thanks.
