I'll kick it off if I can lock a thread, similiar to the way you've done with the webcams??

Meteo France are showing 30cm of new snow overnight at 3,000m in La Plagne. Temperatures look like they will stay below average for the next week, with more snow to come in the next 24 hours. I think this is a bit better than it was in the Tarentaise this time last year?

Been watching the cams in Madesimo. Most of them went off in Oct just one left to watch. Last night it was snowing and the snowmaking machines were running full pelt, got up this morning full of excited expectation and the last bl**dy cam is off. Aaaaaaargh

I think this is the one - great Val Thorens cam at http://livecam.valthorens.com/?langue=2 - brill' option is the "time lapse" button, which creates a 15min time lapse movie so you can see the progression of the day's dump

Actually that is rather good - I prefer the presentation (call up the area - then thumbnails of each webcam) it's comprehensive, and it's all available from one opening screen (no scrolling) - so, though I feel slightly guilty, it's the one I have bookmarked.

Ray Zorro, what the hell are resorts Y & Z doing on the Swiss page, when you haven't got Verbier, Zermatt, Crans/Montana, Grindelwald, Saas Fee, Flims/Laax .... or Moerlialp to name but 7

achilles, I agree. The only thing I would do differently to snoweye is provide a clickable map. It does rather assume a decent knowledge of alpine geography to locate your particular resort au choix.
