The conditions for the Saas-Fee NOKIA Snowboard FIS World Cup half-pipe event were excellent last Friday. Switzerland's Iouri Podladtchikov won the men’s event, and also claimed the lead in the half-pipe World Cup ranking. Norway’s Kiersti Buass won the women’s event with her first World Cup victory for more than 5 years. From Great Britain, Lesley McKenna did the best, coming 11th in the women’s event.
