Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I was skiing in Tignes last week and was suffering from very tense shoulders, often causing a burning sensation when I was skiing. I think this was related to a pulled muscle in my back from earlier in the summer. I booked a sports massage with Elaine Woodward, (Stewart Woodward's wife, who I think is also a snowHead but I couldn't find her login). The massage helped a lot (after the pain of the massage itself subsided - she went in deep!) and I'm happy to recommend Elaine's services to anyone in Tignes this season. I think she will come to your accommodation with her massage table, so it's a convenient way to get a good massage after a day's skiing.

Even without an injury I tend to book a sports massage for the Tuesday night of my week away!!!
There's something very decadent about someone coming to your hotel to help you regain the feeling in your back and legs again so I end up all ready to go on the Wednesday (while the other poor souls are considering a day off!!!
)
p.s. if i was in Tignes - then the hot stone option from Elaine would be v. tempting - but this year is Chamonix again!!!!
