Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

hi new on here so hi all.... ive been on the la plagne web cams, were you can look across the vanoise express, there you can keep an eye on Plan Peisey....hope this link works

thanks for the welcome.....shropshire not bad, dry slope one mile away and i can do tamworth in 40 mins...... off to 1800 in feb, ill be checking cams most days.

You go away for a week you come back, first thing you do is check the cams and they still haven't turned the forking things on Mad

I'm sure someone will be along with up to date info in a minute. When we collected keys to our new appartment end Sept - the tops of the mountains were white with fresh snow. When we went back with our van a week ago it was all green and warm.
Just couldnt resist now being the "local" with a bit of info (even if out of date)!!

They had tested the snow cannons last week, but there really is nothing worth looking at for the time being.
