Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Rottafella NTN has problems, quality and efficency. The product is unlikely to be delivered in France. French standards require a certificate to indemnify the retailer from possible problems and the manufacturer is not sure of quality control issues due to small quantity numbers. This could be a major problem for Scarpa having invested heavily in the concept and boot moulds and already stuggling with 'Summer' footwear manufacturing problems.

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person
So no vested interest in its failure then on your part, given you aren't carrying it? wink

Interesting - lets hope it gets given enough life to be have a "soft" launch as its not great for progression if all innovations get slapped down due to production issues in the first year. I'm very interested to see how the Dukes do in mass production/use.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

fatbob,I've worked with the product for 4 years. Point well made, i don't carry it. It was rushed to production and just touching the procuct was enought to see that. Yeah i'm chuffed, money saved on a product that in principal will work, however, my clients aint gona be the suckers that finace the development. Buy one mate, you'll be the first and biggest sucker since 'Snowblades' hit the market. We need people like you to offset the development costs. Toofy Grin

Not likely - got some trad Garmont boots with plenty of life in em so not going to change just to be an early adopter-sucker & I'm still only a novice so wouldn't notice the performance difference. Plus I remember you saying there was a danger of losing your fingers so with my clumsiness would probably be a digit or too down pretty quickly. wink

Plenty of big money ideas never seem to really break through - I remember Salomons step in snowboard bindings being pulled more or less the week of retail launch IIRC, Line Reactor bindings etc etc does encourage conservatism?
