Poster: A snowHead

Probably a Q for Jon but something I'm considering... have checked TGR and there's a load of discussion but nothing definitive.
I've got Whitedot Directors and p18s to put on them but was considering from a trip later in the winter having a set of inserts for Dynafits on there too. If it's possible will there be space?
Cheers,
Alan(s deep bath)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

This is exactly the plan that I have...although I'm doing it in reverse. Already have Directors with QKs for Dynafits, adding QKs for Looks at a later date. Pretty sure they don't clash in my case, but I have different alpine and touring boots, the former having a longer bsl.

Breakfast_Chimp, will be same boots for me so could be much more of an issue. Minor concerns about taking so much wood out the ski.

Alans deep bath, aye but it's being replaced with S/S. And there's only one thing better than wood in a ski and that's metal I really need to get on and do this with the wife's S7s.

Hi, we have jig for P series here, and the Dynafit one is 2 weeks away, and we fit Quiver Killers and have a range of bolt lengths available to match everything up, so can help with this if you want an accurate and safe mounting. Jigs will ensure this, and we can calculate the best set-up and factor in minimal compromise.
Get in touch with us via the website or phone in we can be of help,

scottydog, cheers, if I was having to send them away (from Scotland) they'd be going to Spyderjon. Would be a seriously costly exercise too. Might need to get in the car one weekend.

SS = stainless steel i assume
the insert gives some strength to the structure so it isn't the same as just drilling a hole

You know it makes sense.

Alans deep bath, make a funtrip of it. I have an appointment with spyderjon in 3 weeks time for QK's to be fitted on Crusairs / Powdairs so as I can share the Dynafits. Since it's a long drive down to Nottingham, I will be getting merry with my brother & dad on the Friday evening.

Try interparcel.com - very cheap to send skis.
