we will be too....also going for the first week of december to catch up with friends so fingers crossed we get to ski too

well hubby is already there and i fly out on wednesday.....he says the snow is great at the moment. he has skied both sides and says the carosello side is the best he has ever skied and we go 2 or 3 times a year....not all the runs are open yet and neither are all the shops and restaurants. the new gondola is not up and running either yet but then it is early days and the italian holiday starts this weekend so all should be opening soon. he skied on the mottolino side doing sponda, trepalle and up to the camanel on sunday and only saw 5 people skiing....how cool is that to have the whole mountain to yourself

We love livigno, went for the 2nd time last New Year, but even though am upset not to be going this year, am looking forward to Selva in 2 weeks!!!

saw it yesterday and it looks far from finished though..........snow really is fantastic at the moment and had a great long weekend.....also had to use snow chains for the first time in 5 seasons of driving!!

they reckon the first level will be done for christmas but i am not so sure......it is supposed to be going all the way up to costaccia but they are doing half this year and half next so its not going to be much different this season than before except you will be inside and it will probably be faster.

I'm there at the minute. There's more base than normal at this time of the year, it's deep on the roofs in town and everything is well filled in. Off piste is a bit nasty, but the piste skiing is great.
