Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

... does anyone know a good place in Scotland, ideally within an hours drive of Glasgow, where I could get my Volkl Gotoma's bindings remounted.

I had my Scott P3's done at Ellis Brigham at Braehead last year and they didn't re-attach one of the bindings properly so it came apart whilst I was skiing, so I'm not tempted to go back to them.

Cheers everyone.

buckers, I can certainly vouch for the tech at Blues here in sunny Leith. He's done some excellent repair work for me. Never used them in Glasgow.

Freeze in Edinburgh. Ask for Neil. Ellis Brigham are good though. Your experience doesn't sound like the norm.

Freeze in edinburgh did a good job for me too, as have snowlines. What kind of bindings are they - it often pays to doublecheck whether they have the right jig for the job, which would make it easier to do right.

buckers, Anyone should have a jig for those, and there's no excuse for mounting them wrongly in terms of drill pieces and jig etc used...

buckers, Blues are good, now based in Tiso outdoor world.

There is also Nevisport in Sauchiehall Street, Greaves Sports in the city centre, Glasgow Ski Club at Belahouston. You just need to check if they have the rig to fit your bindings.

I was under the impression that Blues had shut down, wouldn't trust greaves, but the Belahouston one is a good idea.
