Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

gwaelod, daily flights to Chambery are on my wish-list too. Along with daily direct Eurostar trains to Bourg-St Maurice! And couchette carriages on its overnight service...

Actually, I hear the sales of Eurostar tickets are up 100% on last year for the period immediately after the opening of the new St Pancras terminal in November. Maybe this is the age of the train, at last - for southerners at least!

Swirly, have you ever skied the Franz Klammer piste in Igls? The one on which he won his famous gold medal back in 1976? Schweeeeeeeet!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Bloody typical! We've been to St Anton the last two March's having to travel halfway across Europe from Basel or Salzburg. They put a Liverpool - Innsbruck flight on this year cos we've already booked and not going there this year rolling eyes

Nothing from Newcastle again rolling eyes . I'm not asking for much, a flight to Grenoble or Turin would be enough, not fussy who the operator is rolling eyes

Charlatanefc, didn't they do Fredricshaven(sp) for Liverpool before? Any way not booked by second yet, this opens up the chance of going to St Anton again or maybe Ischgl Very Happy

Kenzie, only runs on Saturdays and Sundays though, no good for sneaky weekend Thurs-Sunday trips to Serre Che.

stevew, I think Ryanair did it from LPL 2 years ago (I know Easyjet never have), but was only one flight a week or so at a stupid time, plus don't particularly like Ryanair for somewhere like that. Ireland fair enough, there's how many flights a day to there, but a flight a week with the rep they have for cancelling flights without warning???

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Kenzie, but I have to work then (fussy I know), Thurs-Sun doesn't use any annual leave, so i can save it for longer trips.

charliecolson, nope, we got the train. Dead easy, train from Basle - Zurich, then Zurich - St Anton. Used the Swiss Transfer pass to the swiss border (51 quid), then paid the extra for the Austrian leg (about 8 Euros each)
